Smart Spaces: 3rd Annual Smart Lighting ERC Industry - Academia Days
Please join us to learn how our center research will lead to increased energy efficiency, better health, and higher productivity. This is an opportunity to interact with industrial and academic thought leaders, as well as the next generation of leaders, the ERC graduate students.
Energy efficient LED Lighting is now becoming a reality, but it is only the first wave in a developing revolution in solid state lighting technology. The Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center is developing the second wave in Smart Lighting Systems, going beyond simple bulbs to fully adaptive, sensory lighting systems provide exactly the right light when and where it is needed.
This third annual Industry - Academia Outreach Day will update participants on the latest research on LED sources, advanced sensors, and control systems. Topics will include advanced LED control technology, Visible Light Communications, novel light sensor technology and advanced packaging development.
Public Event: Monday - Tuesday, February 13-14, 2012
Followed by a day of more in-depth research discussions open only to Industrial Members: Wednesday, February 15, 2012Registration is now closed.
